Network settings glitch
So, long story but I've came back to sky stream.
my puck appears to work well. The need for a restart now and again, as always seems to help any issues. Apart from the latest one.
my box always seems to think I'm connected via Ethernet. I'm not.
If I turn the WiFi off and on (on the puck) it says im connected via WiFi with an excellent connection. Then within a few hours, it says connected via Ethernet.
it works ok, it just annoys me. Anyone had similar?

Re: Network settings glitch
Hi @JazTheTim I used to have my puck connected via Ethernet but decided to go back to WiFi. Whenever I checked it continued to say I was connected via Ethernet even though there was no cable connected. As you mention is still worked correctly so I wasn't bothered.
I recently upgraded my router and had to reset my network connection. Since then it is correctly showing that I am connected via WiFi.
So, try resetting your network connection through Settings > Network to see if that clears it as it did in my case (make sure you have the password if not using the default printed on the router).

Hi, thanks for the response. I should have said, I've tried this.
still thinks I'm on Ethernet after a few hours or so.

Re: Network settings glitch
Hi @JazTheTim If like me you have a separate SSID for 2.5Ghz and 5Ghz why not try resetting your puck to the other SSID to see if it realises you are not on Ethernet. Once you have tried this reset the network again to your preferred SSID (presumably the 5Ghz).
I don't know if this will work but it's worth a try. As I explained in my previous post changing to a new router/SSID resolved it for me.
Good luck 🤞
