My puk is not 100% right
I had Sky account for millenia and then had to go. It used to be good and calls were great way to communicate. On my return I got sky stream thinking with 1G fiber it would be easy and prettier without a satelite dish. However, the Puk is bad choice of mine. It keeps cutting off anything from few seconds to few minutes at the time. And added problem bonus is that remote is having nervous breakdown and often refuses to send signal and then suddenly releases the cache and Puk goes in override mode executing several delayed commands one after the other. And it refuses tu understand commands in English, or any other language and keeps saying "i did not get that" or "you released button too soon"
I need this solved or I am out. Do not need to suffer from dumb equipment.
Sorry to being aggressive, but Sky refuses to help by obstructing the contact.

Re: My puk is not 100% right
@Babaroga I understand your frustration. A puck relies on a good internet speed, the best way to check yours is to go to Netflix even if you are not a subscriber and in their settings you will see an internet speed checker. Also make sure your puck sits on its own without anything else touching it by at least 6 inches. I hope that helps.

I didn't think you could run the checker unless you're logged in?

Yes you can and has been able to for many years with the Netflix app, on any device, like TVs, Roku, Amazon sticks, Sky Stream and Glass TVs.
The Sky Stream and Sky Glass do have their own wifi flag in settings, but it just shows a poor/good/excellent message, so not what we consider the best for us on the community to determine over a period what kind of speed the device is receiving.
Can you please launch Netflix on your pucks (you do not need to be logged into it, if you do not use netflix) and scroll down the left menu to Get help.
Choose Check Network.
Your symptoms look to be mostly around a local network issue or some local interference on your pucks.
Would suggest running the network test several times, over a half hour period between tests or at your household internet use busiest times.
What is your average speed and any low drops over that time?
More often seen as an intermittent blip, your pucks may be incurring some other local interference.
Not always a cure, but the following may help to resolve;
Make sure you have a good 6-8 inches free on all sides of the puck.
Do not stack the puck on top of any other device.
If you able to make sure the puck is in the open, not tucked away in a cabinet or sat directly behind the TV.
Ensure that no other devices that can cause interference closeby, like cordless phones, radiators, baby monitors, smart meter in home displays, microwaves and the like.
Plus, change both your pucks to following recommended settings if you have not already;
Set Network standby mode to ON.
Turn wifi OFF under Network if connected via ethernet.
Sky Stream with two pucks via wifi (former Sky Q and Sky+ customer).
Sky Ultrafast + using Sky SR203 hub. Sky Mobile unlimited data. Sky Smart Home - Bundle Smart Home plan +
