Re: Moving house dont want a dish
@Tadger1888 call Sky. They'll be delighted to switch you to Sky Stream. Just be aware that Sky Stream relies totally on a fast, stable interference free broadband connection. Note also that Sky Stream doesn't record - all content is streamed, and the channels aren't the same as those you get with Sky Q. It's an alternative, not an equivalent product.

Re: Moving house dont want a dish
@Tadger1888 I agree with what @Mark39 says, however just to clarify, there is no need to record shows as they are there to watch permanently just like they are on other streaming services like Netflix, Disney+, etc etc. What you do have is a Playlist, effectively it is a way of saving the programs you especially want to watch in one place as a reminder. What I particularly like is that if you have other family members they can have their own Playlist if they want.

You don't need a dish. A fast & stable broadband connection can give you all the same content that Sky Q gave you. You don't even need a Sky box or subscription.
You can stream live and on demand free to air channels via apps on most smart TVs. You can get Freely streaming devices which offer live streams, an EPG & on demand content. You can get all Sky programming via the NOW TV app in different subscription bundles, depending on what you actually want to watch.
Streaming opens up a lot more flexibility and freedom for TV viewing. You can go with the DIY approach & buy your own hardware & choose the apps & services you want to subscribe to, or, if you like the simplicity of Sky being in control of everything, you can go with Sky Stream where you're loaned the hardware & potentially have less app admin to do, but likely pay more over a longer period.
There are options galore in the land of streaming. Lots of different hardware, operating systems, apps and functionality is available so do a bit of research if you fancy diving in.

Re: Moving house dont want a dish
You can get Sky Stream, which is the way forward and it doenst need a satellite dish, there are many thing better with Sky stream than Sky Q, whislt you cant record, you can add content to your playlist, recroding content locally is now outdated as you can save content to the cloud and Sky TV via the internet is the way forward.
