Moving Home Sky Stream

I will be moving home soon and unable to take Sky Q with me.  I looked at changing to Sky Stream and was shocked at the costs £109 per month, only currently paying £98 on Sky Q.

A new customer can get this for £54 per month.  I want Ultimate, Sports and Cinema but not interested in multiroom, UHD and advert skipping.

Why, as a sky customer for 30 years with just a break between 2013 and 2015 when I moved in with a friend should I be paying double the amount that a new customer pays.  I know it will be lower without the multiroom, UHD and advert skipping but it is still a little excessive and should be able to get this at the prices that a new customer is able to without all the hassle that I am having to go through curently.

Trying to sort out.

@smcam  You're not a new customer and no doubt took advantage of a discounted deal when you joined Sky?

All providers attract new customers in this way, Sky are no different to VM, EE etc.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
