Loss Of Dolby Vision Sky Stream

Hi all,

 

Looking for a bit of help.

 

I have my stream plugged into a 2022 Sony OLED and Sonos Beam. Both DolbyVision/Atmos have been working fantastically.

 

Wierdly, last night, any programmes that should be in Vision are now just showing as 4K HDR in Netflix/Disney Etc. Atmos is still working fine but I can't get Vision.

 

I've tried power cycles, updating apps, switching HDMI but nothing seems to be working to bring back Dolby Vision? I hadn't changed any settings and when I access content through the TV's inbuilt apps it shows in Dolby as it should?

 

Any ideas?

Hi @Tim+Adams and @Greenfingers001 

 

Problem now sorted. Software update had been installed on my Sony TV and my HDMI settings had been changed. When I checked after the problem occurred it was showing on 'Enhanced' but turns out if I'd bothered to look properly I'd have seen a new 'Enhaced Dolby Vision' option in the HDMI settings. 

Sky engineer was a great help. Thanks again for the referral.

Hi @thecrag79 

 

If you switch it all off at the socket, then plug the Stream direct to the TV and then turn Stream & TV on does Dolby Vision work?

Just tried it there and still no Vision. It's a weird one as it was working fine.
