Ok a little background. I have Yayzi fttp. With a Sky Puck and a Toshiba fire TV. TV Works a treat no problems found with it. Connected via copper straight into the router.
Now the puck also connected via copper straight into the router.
Have changed some setting as recomended for a LipSync problem.
Changed: Settings menus take the opportunity to go to Start up & Standby and turn ON Networked Standby mode and turn OFF overnight power settings.
The puck reports the following versions.
Build Version QS024.012.00p
Hardware model IP061-ef
UI Version 20.276.024.05
Platform Version 6.9p16s1
Now the problem after coming home from work and turning on get "The program failed to load", "There was a Techinal problem" or simply returns to the front screen.
Tried many reboots, But nothing only thing that seems to work is try again 10 minutes later.
I haved missed a few messages and displays that appear. Will try and note them down tomorrow.
Is this anything to-do with UHD and Doly atmos ?
Thanks for the anticipated help.
Very Kind Regards
Slack Darren

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIm assuming as you have fttp that your line speed is over 40mb? Are you connecting. If you have fttp there is no copper involved it should all be over fibre .
there have been issues with smaller isp s and the router and or IP addresses they issue.
you may need to escalate this to your isp s tech team.

@Jporch316 Thanks for your reply:
I do have FTTP. The last leg is copper to the router and then copper to the ONT. The ONT converts the copper to fiber. My line speed is 900mb + My fiber is provided by City Fiber and My ISP is Yayzi.
Doing a Netflix speedcheck I get around 43 on the puck and 120 on the Amazon Tv. Swapping the ports on the router around the puck's speed doesnt change.
This definately looks like a Sky issue to me.
Where Next.
Thanks

@SlackDarren if you have FTTP, it'll be full fibre optic up to the ONT (Optical Network Terminal) and then Ethernet out to your router.. Your Puck is also connected via Ethernet to the router and not copper...
I'd suggest running a speedtest via the Netflix app to see what speeds you are getting at the Puck. If it's less than 80mbps, you most likely have an issue with your internal connection somewhere.

having a 900mb line and only getting 40mb on a Speedtest is not consistent
