Linking my accouny to sky stream

I am having trouble linking my sky stream to my account.

What stages of set-up procedure have you completed?

Do you have an error message to share?

Hi

I'm the exact same, the Sky engineer has not long left my property as it was getting installed this morning.

He couldn't link my account and told me to keep trying or do it later via settings but it still won't link.

I seen another user on a different post saying he turned the power off, held the button in for a few seconds on the bottom of the puck box, switched the power back on, the white light under the little puck went from yellow to red, a few updates came up on his tv screen, he had to relink his remote then it asked for a pin and he was set up.

I've tried this and it still wont link 😢

@Treacle - i'm slightly confused as you wouldn't have had a Sky engineer to install your Sky Stream. The puck is delivered via a courier and you unbox it, plug it in and set it up yourself. Sky don't do installation for Sky Stream or Sky Glass.

The engineer was out this morning to get the BB set up because I'm a new customer.

I managed to get the everything sorted and it's all up and running now.

@Treacle Ah ok. That would have been an Openreach engineer rather than a Sky engineer i would have thought, may also explain why they couldn't help you any further 😀.
