Linked wrong HBO account

I accidentally linked my parents HBO account to my new sky stream box. It won't let me unlink. I spoke to HBO and they said sky needed to unlink it. Spoke to sky and they said HBO need to unlink it. Very confusing and not helpful

Hi @ThatGuyLD 

 

According to Skys FAQ:

 

"You'll need to contact us at the bottom of this page to find out your Partner Customer ID.

 

Once you have that you'll need to contact HBO Max with this ID, as well as the email your incorrectly linked."

@ThatGuyLD If you have issues signing up to either Disney+ or HBO MAX please select the relevant sky help article below to see if it helps resolve your issue

wrong email linked is covered on the appropriate link above, once you get the information you will need to contact HBO to resolve

I have tried these, it's just taking me in a circle of sky saying only HBO can unlink, and HBO saying sky need to unlink

@ThatGuyLD  Sky has agreed the process has described on the link with hbo themselves 

 

it may be a simple case of HBO agents not all being briefed on the process but bottom line is it's HBO responsibly so you just need to be persistent with them and don't take no for an answer
