Soundbar is connected to the TV via HDMI ARC, TV output is set to ARC. TV is paired to the Sky remote, but when turning the TV/Puck on, it requires a long press of the power button to turn the TV on, then a seperate quick press to turn the puck on (is this normal??). Soundbar will sometimes come on when the TV is turned on, sometimes not. When it fails to turn on, i have to use the soundbar remote to turn it on, then use the Sky remote to control the volume as normal.
Has anyone else had similar issues and can offer advice? I've reset all devices this weekend and gone through the setup process again, but still getting the same issues...at this rate, i'll be moving to Sky Glass if i can't resolve the issue..

It's possibly down to the age of your TV. That's a 2019 model, designed and built using components from 2018 which, in TV terms, is quite old. It may be that the speed of the processor used in that TV isn't quite fast enough to consistently generate a correct HDMI handshake between all your devices in order for them to function as you want them to.
If I were you I'd consider updating both your TV and soundbar to ones which have the eARC (enhanced ARC) capability. This is a faster version of ARC with increased bandwidth and offers the ability to pass more audio formats between devices.
You could also consider a Sky Glass Gen 2 which has an Atmos-capable soundbar built-in as well as the SkyOS and streaming service if you'd prefer an all-in-one solution. Do your own research on it first though - Glass isn't to everyone's taste.
You can purchase more versatile TV's and separate soundbars for the same money as you can Glass, then you'd just attach your existing Stream puck to it as you do now.
Do some research to make sure you get the setup that does what you want it to. Sky Glass is perfect for many people, particularly those that want to pay over a long period interest free, but others prefer the improved picture quality and longer warranties offered by other makes and models of smart TV.
