Keeps blackout for a couple of seconds and apps dont work sometimes without restart

Blackout whilst viewing for a couple of seconds.(it's not the Internet signal).Also apps stop operating and system needs to be restarted

What is your internet connection speed measured using the Netflix Network check on your puck?

So you need to ensure you are exiting/quiting the apps rather than just pressing the home button to go back to the Home Screen. If the apps are exited then eventually the memory on the device will run out and prevent the apps from loading, which is why a reboot solves this.

 

When you are finished with an app, go to the App's home screen and press the back button. This will either then close the app and go to the Sky Home Screen, or in the case of something like a BBC IPlayer or a Youtube will bring up a prompt saying "Do you wish to exit the app?", in which case you select exit and it closes the app adn returns you to the Sky Home Screen.
