Jumpy / shaky SkySports Football channel
Today and yesterday, the SkySports Football channel is shaky / jumpy during the Millwall-Watford game. The adverts are smooth, but the match and studio programme are jumpy?
The exact same match/programme is on the Main Event channel as well, yet it's not jumpy on the Main Event channel, but is on the Football channel. No other channels are jumpy. What is going on?
NB.
add this to the long list of (unresolved) Stream issues, which includes the below-
* starting 4 months ago, puck won't stream without being plugged into an Ethernet cable which is now permanently running across the floor of my house into the broadband hub. This despite having Stream working without the cable for a year and a half with no problems before that. Ridiculous.
*matches of all sports missing in the Playlist, despite series links being set up. As for which games are missing, it's completely random and luck of the draw as to which ones will end up in the playlist.
This has been an issue for 2 years now

Re: Jumpy / shaky SkySports Football channel
How can the exact same programme being broadcast, be jumpy on one channel but not on another channel. Meanwhile the adverts are smooth on both.
and before anyone says it....there is nothing wrong with my WiFi

Also, does anybody know if I be able to cancel my Sky for free as I'm expected to just live with these issues. I've had enough of Sky now

Yes, you can cancel. Sky have let many customers leave long term contracts penalty free after troubleshooting does not resolve the issues. Give them a call & explain why you're unhappy.

Skysports Football stuttering
Why is the SkySports Football (normal HD channel stuttering. It's been shaky to watch since the weekend.
All the other sports channels are working fine. And it also only seems to be an issue with live TV and not adverts.
Even when the same programme is being shown on the Main Event and Football channels- then Football channel is shaky but Main Event is fine!
What an earth is going on?? !! ?
Nothing wrong with my WiFi and not using UHD either

Re: Skysports Football stuttering
Just checked 403 and 409 this afternoon and all appears resolved after 3 weeks of this problem. Can anyone else see the improvement?

Re: Jumpy / shaky SkySports Football channel
Yes I noticed it was jumpy as you say when watching at the weekend
Seemed fine before last weekend and only seems to be happening during live football
This is different from the issues affecting Main Event in UHD which I've managed to eradicate in the main by using Passthrough on the audio option
