Is it even possible the Puck is doing this via HDMI ?

It seems agreeded that the HDMI CE function on the puck has bugs.

I have my puck connected to my Denon AVR 8500 via HDMI. Since I have had the puck I have noticed a couple of Denon settings (Audsey for Sky stream, and Dual monitor output) changed.

I have not changed them (or anyone else), its possible its bugs in the App I use on my tablet to control the Denon occasionally but have had had that for years without this occuring.

It seems unlikley, but just about possible if the puck is sending junk via HDMI and the Denon's error checking is slack that these may be the culprit being misunderstood to make the changes, but it seems unlikley. Its that or a ghost ?

@kdp99

I had to use a CEC blocker with my puck. It interfered with both a Pioneer and a Denon AVR, causing other connected devices to malfunction even when the puck was in standby.

I got rid of the puck (and the blocker) and everything returned to normal, with no other issues since. I won't be returning to Sky (if I ever do) until they improve their hardware.
