Initialise new sky stream puck activation code issue

Git all the way through set up of new sky stream puck but at linking to account activation code does not move me forward to full set up

tried 6 x with reset process but still no joy

@Will17794  Are you signed into your MySky account at www.sky.com when you enter your activation code?  If not it won't work and you will probably get an error message.

Hi

yes fully signed in and no error message at all. 
can key in the activation code but then nothing happens.

we think it may be due to poor  and fair internet connection despite just getting B4RN fibre installed today.
