This is just dragging on too long. Sky needs to sort this issue out as the Netflix picture quality via Sky Stream is rubbish and I don't see why we are expected to restart the puck every time I want to watch Netflix

@Fothergill1 have you managed to get an update from Sky, as this has gone on for far to long. Can you apply any influence on Sky outside of the community or do we as customers need to escalate the issue via customer services?

Hi @DMI2 Unfortunately I do not have any influence on Sky as I am just a customer like yourself. However I do know from the closed forum that Sky are still working on the issue so there is no point in contacting customer services as there is nothing more that they can do. The only option is just to be patient whilst they fix the problem.
I imagine it is difficult to resolve as it seemed to have coincided with Netflix releasing their updated App. Also, like other streaming issues it seems to effect some subscribers and not others so they have to find a solution that fixes it for some without breaking it for others.

Problem happening for me too - recently moved from Sky Q to Stream and it is only Netflix giving problems. Frustrating.

I was just tryting something out and didnt need to reboot the Stream box:
I logged in to the Netflix profile via a webpage:
edited 'your names' profile (I did this for each profile)
Play back settings >
Data usage per screen >
was on Auto...
...now set it to High (Best Vvideo and audio quality, up to 3 GB per hour for HD, 7GB per house got Ultra HD)
I just wondered if the Sky app of Netflix was just picking up Auto as the first option Low (Basic video and audio quality, up to 0.3 GB per hour).

Most netflix apps start low to avoid buffering then ramp up, when on Auto I guess.

Tested out the reboot method, and the auto / high profile changer. The only reliable fix is the reboot. Not ideal.

Mines still happening today.
Reboot worked though.
Seems like the fix didn't fix everything

I've refreshed my apps but the quality is still appalling, still only being fixed by reboot.
