I've recently switched to Sky Stream including the ad skipping pack. Others have mentioned the ability to fast forward through ads on ITVX and C4 on demand. The other day I pressed the LEFT button on the remote by accident just after an advert started - and the programme resumed when it got to the START of the ad and I pressed play. It only saves a few seconds but seems less frustrating than watching the arrows crawl across the screen!
