Well I have taken out a 31 day rolling contract for sky stream.
Ordered at 18.30 wed night, delivered 9.30 thurs morning. Impressive.
Out of box, plugged in and watching, all within 10 minutes, so far no issues. Logged into discovery + and netflix.
Very impressed with layout and usages.. time will tell

Re: I bit tbe bullet and signed to sky stream
@cliff53 I did the same on Tuesday and it arrived Wednesday. I previously had SkyQ. Like you I found it very quick and easy, I also liked the entirely cardboard packaging no plastic in sight!
So far it's working perfectly. It's all on screen instructions which were simplicity itself, but you have to spend a bit of time getting used to it, for instance after a while I discovered the 'Settings' tab after scrolling down to the bottom and had to make a couple of changes most notibly choosing to turn on UHD.
I particularly like the 'Playlist' having the + sign next to it once you select it. You can add up to 5 other users so in my case as there are only two of us I chose and labelled one for myself one for my wife and one for Both, so saved into that what we are both watching. Something I was very frustrated SkyQ didn't have and imagine for bigger family's the planner on Q being crammed with stuff.
A couple of niggles, as far as I can see at this early stage, if I want to save to the Playlist a upcoming Premier League football match for instance the only option is to record the whole series which includes all Premier League matches up to the one I want to watch. I would prefer it if there was just some way of reminding me when something is on. Of course at this early stage I am willing to be told differently.
All in all however a big thumbs up.

Good to hear of some positive experiences from ordering, speed of delivery through to up and running! Gives a little balance to the casual readers here who might conclude the service nothing but problems.
Happy viewing! 🙂

Re: I bit tbe bullet and signed to sky stream
We've been on Stream for nearly a year and apart from the slightly annoying Dolby Atmos issue that's being widely experienced, it's very good. Hopefully, Sky will get to the bottom of the Atmos issue sooner rather than later and fix it

Mine runs through a roku soundbar. It came on ok.
My remote is all in one, it turns up sound, turns off tv. Will give it a good test this weekend, wife is still using v.m box until it runs out in a week or so.

Re: I bit tbe bullet and signed to sky stream
So my first problem was out of sync speaking.
A quick settings change and good to go.
