I was wondering if anyone got the sky stream puck connected to home assistant ?

I’m curious why this is possible with the Sky Q satellite receiver but not with the Sky Stream box it doesn’t really make sense to me. If it’s allowed on one device, why not on the newer one as well? I’m probably not the only one wondering about this.

It's been a while since I had Q but I'm sure there was an Alexa skill. I guess the thing is different technology stacks etc so either no one has got around to it yet, sky don't allow it and it's locked down or it's technically not possible due to the way the platform is engineered..
I suspect that given sky have invested in their own NLP (natural language processing) for the hello sky functions they don't want a 3rd party assistant having the same functionality.
