Have I been scammed?
Just took a call from a Sky sales rep (who's been calling 2-3 times a day for a week). Was offered a deal to add on Sky stream and Netflix for basically the same price as my sky broadband. But we specifically discussed that my existing Netflix was the Premium one and was told this deal would cover that, explicitly discussed the "cost saving" quoting the Netflix Premium price point.
But, of course, after agreeing then the "confirmation emails" arrive and it apparently doesn't, just Netflix Standard with Ads, which is no use to me, definately do not want that, my family would disown me.
As ever with Sky no way of speaking to anyone to follow this up, the email talks about using the App to ask questions, ha ha, that's not a thing in that app, unless you count the rubbish Virtual Assistant.
Feel I've just been scammed. Should have known better than to answer the phone to Sky.

Re: Have I been scammed?
It could have been Sky.
The Netflix with ads tier comes as default with Sky Stream/Glass
You can after you have activated your first Sky Stream puck, go into your MySky and change to a higher tier month on a monthly basis.
Check your MySky app or MySky account online, to see your upcoming payment details for future months.
For Sky Stream, you will see a separate bill page to your Sky broadband.
Your Sky Stream delivery will show in your track your order here;
and expected delivery details here;
Sky Stream with two pucks (Former Sky Q and Sky+ customer), Sky Ultrafast + using Sky SR203 hub. Sky Protect kit tester.

Re: Have I been scammed?
Sorry, I probably wasn't 100% clear. I'm sure this was Sky, but I mean scammed by Sky who verbally offered me one thing, and when I agreed actually delivered something else.
I'm sure I could upgrade it, but that would cost more money and likely not end up saving me anything, probably costing me more than where I started anyway.

As this was a sales call you could ask for them to listen back to it. If the adviser explicitly said that you would get Netflix Premium for the agreed price then they should honour it.
You would need to give them the date and time of the call, as well as the phone number they called you on.

Re: Have I been scammed?
@mjhagger Alternatively, you are still in the cooling off period so you can simply cancel if you're not happy and don't want the hassle of having Sky check their calls etc.
