Re: HBO Max is Now Included in Most TV Packages!
So for hbo 4k I've got to pay 10 extra... Even though I get the exact same movies on sky cinema already in 4k. Someone hasn't thought this through properly. Surly to just get the series in 4k should be down to 5 a month for sky cinema. It's only worth it if I don't already have 4k sky movies

Re: HBO MAX
So your f they leave. , your. Saying the sky subscription will become worse than what it is unless we fork out an extra 10?? Hopefully I'm still in my cancellation stage then (I rejoined 2 weeks ago) sky Atlantic will be terrible with no hbo .

Re: HBO Max is Now Included in Most TV Packages!
Been watching Euphoria on sky Atlantic with ad skipping. Today it's on hbo max now and have ads.
Seems that everything that will have been on sky Atlantic catch up is now on hbo max.

Deactivate HBO Max?
So.... I've 'upgraded' to Ultimate TV on Sky Stream which has unlocked HBO Max... The problem is shows that I used to watch in UHD on Sky Atlantic when I had the cheaper Essentials package now play on HBO Max in HD. There is no way I'm paying an extra £10 a month to unlock UHD on HBO Max in order to watch the in the same quality I used to get on the cheaper TV package. How do I remove HBO Max from my TV package and keep Ultimate TV?

Re: HBO MAX
Same problem with UHD... We've actually been downgraded from the days of watching on Sky Comedy or Sky Atlantic because there are noe more ads and worse quality (if you already pay for Sky UHD) then we had before we had HBO Max. I want to be able to choose to watch the HBO stuff on Sky, as I would (in better quality) with Essential TV package!

Re: Deactivate HBO Max?
Thanks - I'm trying but it says I need to reset my pin, and enter the new pin... But I never get anything other than 'INCORRECT PIN'... I often wish I'd never bought into Sky Stream. Awful product.

Re: Deactivate HBO Max?
Finally got in. Contrary to Sky's instructions, there is no option to cancel HBO Max offered. Only options are to upgrade. I'm incredibly close to cancelling the whole lot.

What has happened to UHD
Since hbo max launched yesterday the kids have complained Harry Potter is not looking very sharp on the tv. I pay the extra for UHD content with sky, has the new service taken content we had already behind another pay wall and are we expected to shell out yet another £10 per month? If so what is the point of the fee for UHD Dolby atmos with sky?

I've now created an account but first film that came up says unavailable with current plan as do many others. Stating "get access" confused 😵💫

I don't understand what you're trying to achieve by removing the free HBO Max App. If the content is no longer on Sky, it won't suddenly reappear on Sky because you remove HBO. Some content does remain on Sky channels as per the initial press release.
You'll have to ask HBO why they've decided to take their own content back and put it on their own newly launched App, but I suspect you can guess the answer.

Re: What has happened to UHD
I'm the same with some stuff that I've been watching.
it was HD on sky Atlantic but I had the ad skip, but now it's on HBO and I've got ads, and I would need to pay another £5 a month to get rid of them.

Re: HBO Max is Now Included in Most TV Packages!
@Nickyc65 the HBOMax Basic plus ads excludes recent Warner Brothers movies you need the HBO Max Standard tier to access those. Irritatingly Sky dont currently offer the Standard tier with ads only the ad free version which costs £5 per month.
