Re: HBO Max is Now Included in Most TV Packages!
Sadly, Sky Atlantic has been thoroughly gutted of most of the HBO content. Content I value more than Sky's, and content my money is following away from Sky.

Re: Can’t activate HBO Max
Thank you. I eventually got it to activate after several tries.

Re: HBO Max is Now Included in Most TV Packages!
Hi
Jas anyone had any luck on speaking to Sky and having their HBO, deactivated in the My Sky App, so they can set it up again with an alternative email address?
I have TNT Sports with EE, I should have activated HBO Max with that email address. Now I've got one HBO Max Account with TNT Sports and a second with HBO Max Free With Ads.
Thanks in Advance
Barry 🙂

If you have TNT Sports with EETV connected with an EE broadband account you can send an email to eetvsupport your broadband account number and ask it to be reset. You should get a confirmation email. (had to format the email address to be allowed add ee.co.uk)
I then went into the EE app and manage TV/Sport and it had HBO Max TNT sports needs to be activated follow the instructions to reactivate it but make sure you use the same email as your sky HBO account. This worked for me but if you have a mobile add on they are still working on that.

Re: HBO Max is Now Included in Most TV Packages!
Hi
Can anyone share the HBO Max Active weblink? I'm not at home to access Sky Stream. Activate HBO Max is no longer showing in My Sky App.
Thanks in Advance

HBO Max issues
I have the HBO Max and can launch it but cannot access any content.
Spoke to Sky on phone inc tech help (reinstalled app, rebooted puck etc) but no joy.
Have read a lot of community info but unclear what my issue is. Maybe I am not eligible.
Can anyone advise / clarify?
Here's what I see / have learnt.
- Have Sky Stream (2 pucks) + Sky Essentials content pack (+ eg SKy Sports pack)
- HBO Max app is visible and launches ok
- I see the Get HBO Max and Sign In buttons not the HBO Max is now included with Sky screen
- SIgn in button gives choice to sign in with 6-digit code / QR or Use email address
- Both those options require setting up a new HBO Max account, NOT using my Sky ID / email
- Get HBO Max button takes me to a Sky-branded screen with 4 paid-for subscription options to choose (none free)
- Select HBO Max Basic with adds (4.99/m) option requires me to enter Debit/Credit card details
- No option to sign in with my Sky ID
- Sky Customer Service person told me I should be able to get this free and sign in with email on my Sky account
Clearly something here is not operating as everyone thinks it should.
Like I say, I have refreshed apps and rebooted puck. Nothing doing.
Any answers?
TIA

Re: HBO Max issues
Hi @Stu+M46 Unfortunately with the Essentials package you would not qualify for the Disney, or HBO Apps as you need to be subscribed to the Sky Ultimate viewing package to qualify.

Re: HBO Max is Now Included in Most TV Packages!
Hi, so when you say (emphasis added) "now part of the Sky package for Sky Q/Glass/Stream customers. So, you can enjoy all this entertainment as part of your monthly subscription, at no added cost."
... does that mean for ALL content packs? Coz I have Sky Essentials on Sky Stream and there is no way I can get access to any HBO Mx content without signing up to a new HBO Max subscription.

Hi @Stu+M46 Unfortunately you need the Sky Ultimate viewing package to qualify for the free Disney and HBO subscription.

Re: HBO Max Standard with Ads not available?
I am trying to bottom out the same question. At the moment I'm deducing that the basic-with-ads tier IS included free with 'most' Sky subscription ... but I' don;t think Sky Essentials content pack is one of them.
Unsurprisingly, there is not a simple table I can find that tells you WHICH Sky content packs on which subscriptons don;t get HBO Max free.

Yeah, thakns - that is what I was thinking too.
I have a separate Disney+ already but I did want the HBO Max.
Are you saying that's a paid-for job on the Sky Essentials pack?
Cheers for your help

Apart from the FAQs linked from the first post in this thread where the text reads 'to check if your package is included '?

HBOmax not working / activating
Three days I've had this message. Sky support no help at all. Hbo no help and they've confirmed it's not a taken email address.
Tried different devices, pc and 2 phones. Incognito. Tried the website and the app. We have the full sky package with everything on it.
Anyone else had this?
