The newer movies require an upgrade to a higher tier.

Re: HBO Max is Now Included in Most TV Packages!
Hi
I have TNT Sports Ultimate via EE on my EE Full Works for iPhone Plan. My subscription says it's billed by, Discovery Entertainment Benelux B.V.
When I activated HBO Box in My Sky, I used an alternative email address.
Now I'm having to use two email addresses, depending I'm in wanting to watch HBO Max content of TNT Sports Ultimate content.
Is there a way that I can resolve this, so that I watch both content, with the one email address?
Thanks in Advance
Barry 🙂

The Gilded Age and Hacks on Sky.com pages say available on HBO Max at the bottom of their pages, they aren't since they are Universal Productions.
Gilded Age is an HBO co-production.. Hacks was produced by Universal TV and licensed to HBO for streaming, which would have been on Sky in the UK and now reverted to HBO.

Not if he has the TV Essentials package! This only has Sky Atlantic.

@JazTheTim wrote:@Timelord2018 no idea about that!
it's just bizzare. If I want to watch something without adds which are paid for, I have to ignore it on the continue watching rail.
search and find it on sky platform and then play it from there.what a mess that is.
This is going to to get increasingly frustrating as more of the UK rights of HBO content on Sky Atlantic reverts back to HBO.. You will need to pay for Standard (+2 tiers) to keep getting ad-free. Even worse of you want UHD/Dolby Atmos as you will need the top Premium plan.

Re: HBO MAX
Thanks.
Very frustrating. I was watching Curb Your Enthusiasm on Sky Comedy, now that I've activated HBO Max I have to watch it on that. The last episode I watched had 7 adverts before the episode began!

It's a 3 year length - like other NBC Universal distributed series on Sky , did they acquire it before May 2019 but not publicly announced unlike Network 10 in Australia ?
Even Season 1 was also renewed for another 3 years a year ago now June 2028
Hacks hasn't reverted its exclusive to Sky,
also Sky acquired it from NBC Universal
Hacks is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group. NBCUniversal Global TV Distribution handles international sales of the series.

Not quite @CraigDylan
Sky's rights have expired. WBD have taken their own shows back to put on their own App. It hasn't moved because you've activated an App.

Re: HBO MAX
Take this example - I was going to watch Boardwalk Empire on Sky Stream in the high quality I pay extra for. I searched for it expecting it to come up on Sky Atlantic. But... Now it only comes up via the HBO Max app... So I'd have to pay more to get the quailty I had before.
It's reported all over that content originally aired on Sky Atlantic would continue to be available there - but does that only refer to ongoing releases and not the catalogue? It's a kick in the teeth to everyone who had ad-free high quality access to Sky Atlantic content who now have to fork out more to get the same on HBO Max. It's not a free upgrade by any stretch.

Re: HBO MAX
@POckelford Sky Atlantic has season 3 of Boardwalk Empire nothing else, which is fairly random. Finding that wasn't as easy as I assumed it would be. Voice search brought up HBO Max. Scrolling to TV Shows and to the Sky Channels tiles got me there eventually. I expect this is out of Sky's control. HBO, as other rights holders do, have taken their shows back. Considering how long most of this content has been exclusive to Sky I'm surprised that this hadn't happened before now. It does appear to devalue Sky's offer to consumers. Over time this will become even more apparent.
All five seasons are available through HBO Max which is available to anyone with the Ultimate subscription bundled in as part of the package. Ads are annoying but I can live with them.

Re: HBO MAX
My plan is to get Now TV entertainment (without Max) dirt cheap for the few Sky Channels worth watching - and HBO Max standalone premium for all the content that Sky's losing (where I actually care about the picture and sound quality).
