Hi, I upgraded to HBO max premium on Thursday 26th. It is now Saturday 28th and no sign of it being upgraded. Still have ads and account shows awaiting activation. As the monies were taken on Thursday, and there doesn't seem to be a way to activate on the app, what do I do now?

@StuartWorley79 sounds lije you did not upgrade via Sky or missed a step . Click on the awaiting activation link which should open a page on HBO Max's site to set up an account or sign in with your existing credentials which should then refer you back to Sky having linked the two.

@POckelford Tonget HBO Max in UHD etc you need to be oaying for their Prdmium tier as the Ultrabiost only covers Sky content. This is the position on all apps like Disnet+ etc

When you click on link, there is no link to HBO, hence my problem. I upgraded following links through sky and they took my money on Thursday. Thank you for replying.

No because Sky lost the rights to the content as Warner who own HBO wanted their own app which has been running in most markets for a couple of years. The UK was different because Sky had exclusive rights to much if the content up until now. Sky can only buy rights the producers are willing to sell.

Because Sky don't own HBO, you can upgrade to the Premium HBO for Ads free.

I can access on other devices as I have created my account but on my sky box it keeps coming back to choose subscription

Having same issue I am a tnt sports subscriber and the stream just keeps going blank, doing my head in
