I am on Sky Ultimate TV package. I understand that my attached Netflix comes as standard with ads. But what I want to know is, is there a way or an ad on I can get to remove ads from my other sky channels such as Sky Max?

Hi @Baladi Yes, there is an ad-skipping add-on. This LINK tells you all about it and has a button to take you to your MySky account where you can add the ad-skipping.
Please be aware that it does not actually remove the ads but allows you jump the adds on some Sky content or FF through them if the button is not avaiable..
Good luck

Re: Getting rid of adverts
Thanks so much for the good info and answer. My package comes with ad skipping. I was hoping there was a no ad option (like with Netflix). But I guess I have to just live with it & skip when ads come on

@Baladi That would be great but unfortunately it's just wishful thinking 🤔🤣

Re: Getting rid of adverts
@Baladi And for clarity you could never skip ads on a live channel, nor is there an ad free version of live channels.

The alternative is Sky's NOW streaming service which is available via an app on many smart TVs and most streaming devices. With NOW you get access to all of Sky's on demand content and can have all the ads removed if you subscribe to the Boost or Ultra Boost package. There's a short un-skippable promo at the start but then the content plays completely ad-free, with no skipping required.
Sky offer various means to get their content which is great if you don't need the whole TV service offered by Sky Stream or don't like the puck hardware.
