Getting fed up.

Every few days, my sky puck(s) say 'can't load programme, or wait till prog loads. But they never do. not a internet issue. As EE hub ( with Ethernet connection)  is fully working no issues. For when connected to smart tv via WiFi I can run all the same apps. I left sky q as thought the streaming was a fab idea. Now getting so fed up with the constant loss of loading apps and programmes. Any help greatly appreciated. I have done a reset and a hard one with hate doing as have to redo all passwords etc.

Have you turned WiFi off in the settings on the puck? Also I had issues with all my glass devices and pucks telling me it cannot connect to the internet. This started around June. Following complaints to Sky and EE, sky proved that there were periodic failures in DNS on the EE router. I had a EE Smart Hub Plus. Id had glass and EE together working solid for 18 months before this.

 

EE put trial software on my router that resolve the issue but it still wasn't perfect, so I made a high level complaint to EE and was provided with a Smart Hub Pro and have had zero issues since. I had some  sky devices on WiFi and ethernet and saw issues on both.

 

The other thing to check is that your puck is getting the minimum speed requirements i.e. 25Mbps for HD and 30Mbps. You can check this in netflix (Profile pic > get help? > Connectivity check).
