Re: Get network error

Cheers, sounds a logical approach which I will try as the issue has re-occurred this morning.😞

Have extended the lease to 21 days (max), and have also attempted to update the router settings so that the puck keeps the same ip address.  Fingers crossed

Re: Get network error

I went in through the EE hub manager and waited for an IP address to be allocated to the puck and set it to static so, in theory, should load faster by not going hunting for one. Time will tell though

Re: Get network error

How did that work out for you?

Setting the puck to a static address didn't sort out the problem, even though the address is allocated. Seems to be the timing of the puck starting up before it obtains the address throws everything off. I still can't access the apps through the puck. Going to ditch Sky I think, had enough now.

Re: Get network error

A fixed IP didn’t solve it for me either. I also tried putting the puck in the DMZ, but that made no difference. I’ve reverted to the default settings. As it stands, I can usually go about 4–5 days before needing to reboot the router.

At the moment I cannot be bothered with reporting the issue and having to explain to frontline support about the issue. Numerous posts on the EE forum about the issue also.

At least the EE router doesn't take an absolute age to reboot and get back online.
