Gambling Ads

I pay to skip ads but I still get an annoying few seconds of gambling ads before and after. How can you stop these. I really hate gambling ads

Hi @Pambro

You will need to give more information where are you seeing these? Sky content or ITV or other app etc? As you have stated it's ad skipping not no ads. However there is no specific way to opt out of specific ads.

Re: Gambling Ads

The Gambling Adverts may form part of a wider sponsorship deal for the program that you're watching so are effectively tagged on to the broadcast rather than being in the advert section which is skipable when watching OnDemand content.

@Pambro

I agree with @Nigelb1972 : I think that's technically programme sponsorship rather than a skippable advertising break.

Re: Gambling Ads

It's Sky content.

I think it's bad, especially if you are someone with a gambling addition who has paid extra to not be confronted with these ads, even if it's only a few seconds.

Re: Gambling Ads

I agree and I believe that Gambling Adverts should be banned but that would involve Government passing legislation to ban them.
