Four Days in...

So here is my first 4 days of using sky stream.

Only issues, lip sync issue and a stalling pic before it sped up and caught up.

A quick check and tweek in settings seemed to have sorted it. I do have it on a monthly recurring contract, so if it does not work out, I can send it back, but so far so good

You can cancel the 18 & 24 month contracts penalty free with just 31 days notice too.

Re: Four Days in...

Yes, you can end your Sky Stream contract early, but you'll need to give at least 31 days' notice and your contract can't end before your minimum term is up.

The above os on sky site, so you cannot end until 18 or 24 mth is up

The website is often not updated, nor is it particularly transparent on many subjects.
Trecently introduced Media Bill which went through Parliament in July allows any streaming TV contract longer than 12 months, not fully paid for in advance, to be terminated with 31 days notice without penalty.
If you search on this forum you'll find many people who Sky have allowed to end their contracts in this way without challenge or fuss.
