So, it's currently 9am the day after the qualifying was on, which finished at 23:00 last night. So that's 11 hours and it's still not available to watch on Sky Stream.
considering how much Sky pay to F1 to show all of this, the UX is just rubbish. Being able to watch the F1 as soon after it is shown as possible is key.
While I'm at it - it would be great if the titles of the programs were more obvious. The tikes say "Mexican Grand Prix 2024:....." where the titles are chopped. It would be much better if it was clearer if it was Practice, Qualifying or the Race. The description you get is also not always exactly clear about what session you're watching.
and finally... season 24 episode 6 is not how you refer to an F1 session!!!!
arrrgggghhhhhh

I have the same problem. Mexico qualifying for 2025 is not showing in the playlist. Nor is the 2nd qualifying, and the US race has never become available either. Rebooting the puck and refreshing the apps did not fix it.
I just went and added the formula 1 to the playlist of the puck in the bedroom and it has exactly the same problem, so the issue is not with the specific puck.
When you add F1 to your Playlist, for cloud recording ( same for any Sky Sports) do it from the tv guide epg on the Sky F1 channel at 407, hitting enter on the F1 programme, like the live F1 Practice 1, so you can then select either the hd or the uhd for cloud recording with the other showings button.
Best if you want all the weekend settings is to start this with adding the F1 practice on the epg on the Friday. This will series link the whole weekend sessions action, including all the Practice sessions, the qualy, Sprint qualy and races (if the Sprint is available for that weekend) and the pre/race/post race programmes.
As for the on demand catch-up.
Your cloud recordings after a week or two will convert to the On demand versions. You will know this as they no longer have the live ads within the broadcast and will show the few minutes of previous and following programme.
The full set of the On demand is available for all the sessions of the weekend back to Australia.
You can find them by
Home>Sports>Formula 1 or just saying with voice remote Formula 1
Scroll down to the Weekend wrap up rail and choose the F1 race weekend tile;
This is how it shows today for that rail and also included showing what is within the USA one from last weekend.
Sky Stream with two pucks (former Sky Q and Sky+ customer).
Sky Ultrafast + using Sky SR203 hub. Sky Mobile unlimited data. Sky Protect smart tech kit tester.

Re: F1 Mexico GP qualifying - where is it??
As a note, I'm watching the qualifying highlights in 4OD's streaming service which has it all online, which I get for free with my TV license 🙄

That may well be true, but it isn't free.
You cannot legally watch live channel 4 broadcasts without paying for the BBC licence fee.

Re: F1 Mexico GP qualifying - where is it??
What a lot of useful replies, thank you all so much for the insights.
let me clarify "I get included with my TV license" rather than "for free with my TV license" - in any case, it's still a fraction of the cost of the Sky package.
personally, I would have thought that SKY have someone dedicated to making sure that the content being offered for F1 is very accessible and user friendly.

It's very unusual if you playlist F1 for it not to be available immediately.

The playlist function is terrible with F1, if you go to start watching a race as it's finishing live, it just drops you into the podium celebrations. The titles are appallling as well and it just doesn't work very well!

And now the same problem... no race! Qualifying has appeared, but the race isn't available yet at 8am the morning after the race finished at 22:00 last night.

Re: F1 Mexico GP qualifying - where is it??
There is an official F1 Youtube channel that carrys highlingts, very compressed. Might be better to watch that. Cheaper too.
What does Sky get you exactly? Netflix, Paramount Plus and Sky Entertainment. The rest are fre services anyway. If you have a smart TV, it doesn't really stack up to the £30 monthly fee any more.
