Extra location charges

I'm receiving emails from Sky about using my Sky stream away from home and extra charges. We are only using them at home and have not changed any setup for a few years. What can I do about this? I'm out of contract so will readily cancel if additional charges occur in error.

This happens sometimes, when the checks falsely show you are using your Sky Stream pucks on your local network.

It can happen if you are  using a mesh system or some kind of local VPN that may be showing up as different or separate networks at your home.

I have escalated this to Sky for you, if you can go prepared with what type of broadband router and or mesh setup you have at home, it will help.

You will then be given an exception and hopefully refund.

I've escalated this to Sky and they should be in touch with you soon about it.
Look out for a message from Sky on your email and Sky Community private messages.
