Just got an email about OS 1.3 which seems to confirm the game mode is now live. It will be interesting to see if people notice the improvement

@Super+Anthony From some of your previous posts I was under the impression you had Stream.  If I am correct you won't see any Game mode as it will only be applicable to Glass.

No game mode is only for Sky Glass it's about input lag for game consoles, PS5, Xbox, PC etc plugged into a HDMI port, low latency sport is something completely different coming to both Glass and Stream.

Where does it mention that game mode is live in the email. I can't see anywhere that mentions "game mode" @Adz6794

Screenshot of that email mentioning Auto Game Mode

Note

Auto Game Mode only applies to Game Consoles connected to Sky Glass

Also when a game console is connected you will see Auto Game mode option listed in connected devices.

@Paul+Boland  Thanks for the screenshot of the email.  I haven't received one yet but I suppose they will be in batches as I can't see them sending 10M in one shot.

I reciever a email around 5/6pm about the 1.3 update but it was a Sky Stream specific one with obviously no mention of game mode, I deleted the email after reading it as there was nothing I didn't already know so can't post a screen grab.

The email sent by Sky today was for customers who have Sky Glass.

Customers who only have Sky Stream Puck will receive a different email in regards to OS 1.3 as in that email won't mention Auto Game Mode as that functionality does not apply to Sky Stream Puck.

I thought as much, the email that I got (for stream) never mentions it. It would be useful if people posted in the correct forum when quoting emails.

I agree. This page is for stream. It's so confusion talking about glass when there is a separate link for this, especially if you are neurodivergent
