So it could be one of two issues.
Does it still happen if you put the stream puck into standby and then turn it back on?
If it does then it's an issue Sky are aware of and trying to resolve. It did improve for some customers on the recent QS28 update but seemingly some are still having issues. Try changing the audio settings from Auto to PCM and that should resolve it.
