Downscaling Question

Hi just got up & running with sky stream , got two pucks & all is going well , just a quick question , being i absolutely DFETEST HDR , on this box (& to be fair many others) there is no way to disable it ,  the only way i have to do it is to reducemy TVs HDMI capability to 1.4 & run in 1080p , this is fine only thing i was wondering is there is an option for stream quality (HD & 4k) , if i were to enable $K streams with 1080p would it give me downscaling from 4k to 1080p i ask as im a fan of downscaling in certain Pc games.
