Do I need a sky remote to operate

I have just received but dont have a remote. So stuck on setting it up as won't move. The remote i used before for tv and Google does not work. How can I resolve?

A Stream puck should ship from Sky with a remote in the box. Was this missing, or is the puck from elsewhere?

Edit: and is it actually a puck rather than a Hub for broadband?
