Disney + on sky stream is terrible!
It very rarely lets me straight into Disney + and I often have to try 2 or 3 times to get into the service. When watching programs, after an ad break the screen freezes but the audio continues and I have to go back to home to get back in or skip forwards a few times so it catches up. Literally spent 5 minutes now trying to start a programme and the wheels spinning blue. Tried the usual but to no avail. It's very unreliable.

@Mofo1 You could try an App refresh. Go to Settings, System management, Reset & update, and select App refresh. It take a few minutes but will return you to the Homw screen. Not strictly necessary but I go straight back in as above and select Restart device. I hope that helps.

Disney+ crashing
I signed up to the Disney+ when it became free with the sky stream package but every time I watch something, it always crashes when it's about to play ads or a new episode. I've tried restarting router, refreshing the app. Nothings working. Any ideas?

Use the Disney+ app on your smart TV or any other streaming device. Just login to it with the same details you used when you set it up with Sky.

Re: Disney plus
Signing into and viewing apps via a different device will give you proper frame rate switching etc. The pucks output most of the apps at 60fps instead of the proper 24fps. You'll see a significant difference in picture quality using a different device.

Indeed. It's why I've never used the third party apps on Sky's hardware. Stream pucks only output at 50Hz by default or 60Hz if you have judder reduction turned on for apps.
Not all streaming devices and apps offer proper frame rate matching though - you need to experiment to find the device which suits you best.
