I have just subscribed to Sky with free access to discovery plus. I have two pucks and discovery plus works fine on one but on the other says Time for an update and to follow instructions on my device but nothing happens.
can anybody help please

Have you tried a settings restart on that puck?
Go to Settings>Systems Management>Resets & Updates
Select Restart device
Your Sky Stream puck will perform a reboot. It will take a few minutes to complete.
Different ways to get to the settings menu;
Hit the . . . button on your remote and select settings, use voice saying 'settings' or scroll down to the settings menu on the Home menu.
Sky Stream with two pucks (former Sky Q and Sky+ customer).
Sky Ultrafast + using Sky SR203 hub. Sky Mobile unlimited data. Sky Protect smart tech kit tester.
