Discovery+ app controls

When I watch programmes on the Discovery+ app I have found that sometimes the controls don't work, I can play or pause the programme but I'm unable to rewind or fast forward, I can't even move to the subtitles box in order to select that.

 

Has anyone else had this problem and been able to fix it?

@TonyBear1963  I have noticed similar problems on an App but cannot remember if it is Discovery + (but quite likely as I watch D+ quite a lot).  I rebooted my puck and it resolved the issue.

 

It's worth a try.  Just switch off at the plug socket for a minute and then switch it back on.  It takes about a minute to reboot.

 

If that doesn't help try refreshing the Apps.  It takes a while to complete but is done in the background.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion however it makes none of this makes any difference. The app seems to have moods, some days it will play nicely other days it would rather be left alone to sulk! As long as I know other people have the same problem I'm not too bothered really, hopefully it will get fixed eventually.

@TonyBear1963  My Discovery + has just had the same problem that you mentioned with the remote being unresponsive.  A reboot sorted it out (for the time being).
