Discovery Plus

Folks, someone out there, must know how to fix the "Upgrade to watch," problem with Discovery plus, I am fed up with it not working.

I am paying a fortune and Sky are not givong me a full service.

Hi @Nigel19076

Did you move from Sky Q or any other Sky product to Stream as if so all your Marketplace subscriptions are cancelled so you have to re-register (see the THIS link) 

 

You can register or re-registered (as appropriate) by doing the following:  Use the voice command "My Sky" and then select the following:  your products / (enter your PIN) / App Subscriptions / Current / and then Discovery + Monthly.  Hopefully it will say £0 per month whilst you have a Sky TV subscription.  If so select Activate subscription.

No i have had Stream since its release,I can log into Discovery Plus and click on my own profile, it is only when i try to watch something i get the message to upgrade my subscription.

Fed up with it to be honest.

Same with me.

 

tried for a couple of years to get it fixed but sky don't care. 

one response was it's free perk so they are fulfilling to the contract even if you can't access it.

 

sky will lie to you about getting it fixed then never communicate back to you

Have you tried Discovery support? While there is a link from your sky account it is a 3rd party app. Logging in on the web should tell you that it's billed by sky. If this is showing the link is done. 

 

The was an issue where the linking process was failing and that was in Skys gift to fix. But it would be worth seeking support from discovery.
