Hi there,
It's my first time posting here. I just sign up for Sky Stream and have been using it for almost a week. I often watch documentary channels and I've noticed the Discovery channel is not in HD and only a standard definition is available. Is there a reason for this? I used to see Discovery HD when I lived at home on Sky Q. The standard definition looks quite bad and not enjoyable to watch at all on quite a large TV. I started to pay extra for UHD as I thought this would maybe help but to no avail. I know I can probably watch Discovery+ in HD but it's an extra hassle and the app does not always work well. I did not expect so many SD channels in this day and age. I was also considering signing up to Sky Q but my rental property does not have a satellite dish so Stream seems to be the only option.

Are you based in the UK? I wonder if it is in SD since I'm in ROI. Also agreed on the sound but the picture quality is a killer.

Discovery Channel on 138 is HD and is labeled as such on the EPG. If you are having issues check the output settings of the puck.
Edit this applies in the UK

138 looks to be Crime+Inv HD. I'm based in Ireland which might be why it's not the same. I've checked through all channels and Discovery HD is not there. Thanks for your suggestion!

According to this it should be HD on 134.. but obviously not a Sky resource so not sure how accurate it is.
