Delink Netflix account from Sky Stream

I am an ex staff member and when I left the company I didn't realise I had to add card details to my account. I thought the card details used for broadband would work but they didn't. I was therefore frozen out of my TV package until I added my card details. In this time, it blocked my Netflix account. I added card details and my Sky accounts got up and running but when my went on the TV she was prompted to login to Netflix again and not knowing a link would be created  she used her Netflix details. Her Netflix is now being paid by me in my Sky package and I cant get on to my own Netflix. We have contacted Netflix and they have said they can't do anything - they said that I must click the 'Netflix account recovery' button so that it produces a 6 digit service code - they can then use this to delink the account. However there is no such button anywhere on the Sky app/website and I can't get this code. Without the code they say they can't do anything. I have called Sky 3 times too and got nowhere. Is this really unfixable? If I am not getting my Netflix account in the package I'll probably just leave Sky..!

I'm having the exact same issue, currently on the phone with Netflix and they're sending me to sky.com/shop/netflix which is a link that doesn't work.

I have managed to do this sucesfully after being given the runaround by Sky & Netflix. Try raising a formal complaint with Sky and ask them to delink their billing from the Netflix account. They will eventually contact Netflix and process the delinking.

I finally got there with them. The link they provide is wrong but if you do this it should work:

(1) make sure Netflix is logged out on whatever device your browsing the Sky site with to do this (phone/computer)

(2) make sure you've already logged into your Sky account on the browser 

(3) then go to this link: https://id.sky.com/mfa/sign-in/challenge

(4) follow 2 factor authentication 

(5) click 'recover Netflix account' 

(6) you should then see the email address for the account incorrectly logged and a small 6 digit service code at the bottom of the page - this is the code to give to the Netflix team

(7) tell Netflix the email and service code and they should delink it

 

Sky team - this process is a nightmare with different staff across Sky and Netflix saying different things about who owns the process. It's taken me 5 calls to get to this point and then Netflix providing a broken link to the Sky site which you need to update as well as the overall instructions for this process. Not acceptable!!
