Darts missing from playlist. Again.

What a pathetic service Sky Stream is.

No consideration for what paying customers should expect as a bare minimum.

Set the World Matchplay Darts to playlist and to my surprise on the first day it actually worked.

The full session "recorded" on Sky Sports + and as I have the UHD package the main event UHD also recorded, so I could watch that stream after 90 minutes in when it started on ME.

Never mind that the programme is clearly filmed in UHD so it really shouldn't be out with the realms of possibility that I should be able to watch the entire programme in UHD, whether it was actually aired like that or now. A discussion for another time. 

What has irked me, once again, is that I've just sat down to catch up on last night's session, which was missing the first half hour on ME only to find the golf overrunning, so 45 minutes missing, but there is NO HD feed saved off.

I mean, come on, this is amateur hour from Sky, maybe they dont want paying customers?

As it is I've resorted to my PDC TV subscription, with VPN turned on to catch the first 45 minutes of the programme. But I'm lucky I can do that, but why should I have to with an expensive Sky sub that's just increased mid contract by nearly 20% due to their archaic calculations which involve not taking your discounts into effect when applying such a large price increase.

Totally incompetent from Sky, ALMOST ruined the Darts from me, but let's not kid ourselves, the Sky Stream product is barely functional for the basics like this.

I too had trouble with the darts last night, I was trying to start watching an hour or so after the start last night.  It showed up in the playlist as it should but no way could I get it to "watch from start", I could watch it live of course but doing that I missed the first hour or two - there was a choice to watch from start but selecting that made it jump back to the previous session.  I restarted the puck and tried a few times but In the end I gave up and just missed the first part - annoying!

In general though I find Sky Stream works well, it needs the default settings changed and the occasional restart.  Also I have mine connected by Ethernet.

Absolute garbage, it's going it AGAIN tonight , you couldn't make it up, this incompetence.

Trying to "play from start" on SS Action HD and it just plays from the 8.30 start on UHD instead of 7pm.

Totally ruining the darts for me this is.

What a bunch of amateurs, here I go again onto the PDC TV with VPN to watch what I have paid for.

@meherenow2 I got it to work OK last night.  I started watching about 90 minutes after ir started.  Opened the darts in my playlist and the various episodes there only showed the Main Event stream, I noticed 'other' at the top where the series numbers are, selected that and the one I wanted was there - clicked on it and it played from the start perfectly. 

Sky just need to sort out how it shows in the playlist.

That didn't work for me, it showed as being on SS Action HD, but still played the ME UHD feed and only from when it started at 8.30

Do you have the UHD add-on package? I'm beginning to think that's the problem as it is defaulting me to the UHD in the playlist.

Just sat down to catch up on the rest I had to watch from last night after I was messing around with VPN and having to cast the PDC TV feed to my TV.

I had watched the first 15 minutes of the ME UHD feed and that is still the only option available to me, yet on other days I have BOTH the UHD and a Sky Sports + regular HD (the HD has the full programme, the UHD only the portion that was broadcast on ME UHD).

It is so inconsistent and unreliable. If I had waited until today there would still be no way to watch the first 90 minutes of the broadcast. 

It seems that I am being punished for paying extra for the UHD feed because Sky are too useless to consistently put up the part of a playlisted programme that was in regular HD.

I have to note, when I look at the guide, it tells me the programme is already playlisted on both SS Action and SS ME UHD.

Honestly, I expect better for the money I am paying.

Oh, and of course the playlist had forgotten I had already watched the 15 minutes, luckily I remembered that the half baked Sky product means I need to resume playback from the Home screen carousel, instead of in the playlist... Shoddy stuff all round.

@meherenow2  Yes I do have the UHD package, like you I usually get the HD and UHD in the playlist. The darts is there for both streams but the HD one is hidden in 'other'.

@Gordon461 definitely not there for me, only the UHD streams, plus a random SS+ feed from the first night when it DID manage to save off both HD and UHD feeds.

It's a total mess in there as well, with some sessions allocated to "series 1" and others to the "other" tab. Just shows up how bad it is.

Same again tonight, although UHD starts at 7pm like the HD feed, I only have the UHD available to choose from anyway, I look at the guide and "series added" shows up on both SS ME UHD & SS Action HD.

Still got a little bit of last night's to finish off, still no sign of the missing first 90 mins from the HD feed, yet as well as the first night in HD, I also have day 2 session 2 in HD, that was the night of the golf final and didn't show up then, I have the UHD for that one that started late, but the description says it's session 1!

I doubt I'll be renewing this farce.

Your best bet for any listing tab anomalies is to send an email to the Sky Viewer relations team to report it;

They do respond to emails with any updates for your queries or problems and will pass onto the relevant teams to be made aware.

Would suggest all doing this, with as many of the examples, past and current that you are noticing.

Following up again on this terrible service.

I'm a bit behind on the Darts now, so I put on Thursday nights session tonight, Friday, and there's NO UHD whatsoever, only the feed from SS "THE LIONS HD".

Honestly, you just couldn't make up this incompetence and lack of consistency. Is it SS ME UHD? Is it Sky Sports Action HD? Is it Sky Sports +? Or Lions HD?

At least the second quarter finals tonight seem to be in UHD according to the playlist. 

A substandard service for sure.

I'll email to where the last poster said, but what good will it do, it's a terrible service for reliability, you only have to take a look at the Sky Reddit to see the true customer feedback...
