Cooling off

When does the cooling off period start, after you have agreed the contract or after the installation is completed?

It will start as soon as you activate your first Sky Stream puck.

When you order Sky Stream, you’ll start a new contract and choose a new TV package.

The Sky Ultimate TV or Sky Essentials TV subscription includes Sky Entertainment and Netflix. It's available on a 31-day rolling contract or an 24-month contract – giving you ultimate flexibility. Both contracts come with a 31-day cooling off period. After then, 31 days' notice is required for cancellation and for the 24-month contact, early termination charges might apply

Or 21 days after delivery if not activated by the subscriber before then.  In rare circumstances (such as hugely delayed broadband installation) this does theoretically mean that the cooling-off period might elapse before the puck has had any use at all, but I'd hope Sky would be understanding.

*One to watch out for: If you don’t activate your Sky Stream puck within 21 days of delivery, your subscription and billing will start automatically.
