Have Sky stream that I was persuaded to buy when taking broadband in 2023 after moving home. I'm on social tariff for phone but they want to increase my tv ultimate price or even taking the essential package it's too expensive for me. I rang and mentioned NOW tv as I hardly watch Sky but have got used to using the puck to control everything on my tv. The advisor said NOW tv is rubbish. My contracts up end of Feb not sure if I should just cancel as I have a smart tv anyway and only 3 or 4 Sky programmes I watch

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more
Now isn't available on a Stream puck, so you'd be watching through the television set itself or some other device. Without a Sky subscription you'd be returning the puck to them anyway unless you acquired it before 23rd February 2023 (in which case you can keep it, but it has no functionality)
Perhaps worth noting that Now is getting a significant revision later this month.

The advisor is talking rubbish.
Both Sky Stream & NOW TV have their place. They are completely different types of service & can't really be compared.
In terms of Sky channel content, you can get it all on NOW in the same quality as you can get on a Stream puck, often cheaper.
