Continue Watching Error/Stuck on Sky Stream

My Sky Stream Homepage has Season 4 Ep. 5 of one show stuck on the homepage even though I have watched and the episodes after, plus Season 5, Ep 1 of another show stuck saying continue to watch even though that's been watched, plus after. I have tried re-watching/fast forwarding, closing the app via setting, refreshing, restarting, rebooting, factory resetting, hard rebooting and they won't go. The shows are from Amazon Prime.

Is there another of getting rid or do you have to wait until so called servers speak to the each other and systems sync, if you don't watch for a while?

I have read other forums and that is what I am presuming now. I have even logged into Amazon Prime and cleared my previous watch history via a web browser and still no luck.

Any help would be appreciated.

@WJames1

The Continue Watching rail is a long-standing source of frustration for many a Sky Stream customer.

There is presently no way to manually remove things from it, nor is there a way of forcing a re-sync between servers on different app watch list sources.

You could try going to the Prime Video website, login and navigate to your Watch History in the Account & Settings menu. You can then delete content from your watch history in there which may help speed up a viewing sync between devices. There have been long-standing issues with Sky hardware and the Prime Video app over the past few years so no promises that it'll work, but worth a go.

Best of luck!

Re: Continue Watching Error/Stuck on Sky Stream

Many thanks for this. I have tried, but there is no harm again in re-trying and checking that I did I right this time.

Appreciate the message.

I agree with your message too. It's a pain, it's pure frustration, and it doesn't help when you have a hint of OCD and it drives you in-sane.
