Considering moving to Stream.

So i currently have Sky Q on the Main TV and a multi room box in the bedroom. Im due to come to the end of my contract and my renewal is still quite high, however if i move to Sky Glass Air with a sky puck i can get everything at a much reduced price. So my issue is, i will place the main sky glass TV in the spare room and play the Puck via my main TV. Will this setup work? As in will i still get the same quality UHD and Atmos? Or is it better to try and renegotiate my renewal.

Thanks in advance.

If you want a new TV for the bedroom then yes, what you suggest will absolutely work. If you don't need a new TV then you can just switch to Sky Stream with the Whole Home subscription and two pucks, one for each room. You can get UHD & Atmos from both a puck attached to a 4K TV or a Glass Air TV, as long as you have the appropriate Atmos-capable soundbar or AVR attached to it.

Thanks mate. I do think a shiny new TV for the bedroom would be nice, of course i'll tell the wife its "free" with the subscription. Would having Virgins 1000mb internet have any detrimental effect on the streaming at all?

Does anyone know if swapping to Sky Glass will have any impact on my Sky Protect device plan?

Your Gigabit Virgin service should be good with Glass and Stream. As long as both devices can get a constant stable signal then you should be OK.

You'll need to tell them you're switching to a Glass TV if you want it to be covered by Sky Protect.

And it's conceivable that the monthly premium would change.
