Connecting sky q booster

I cannot connect my sky q booster despite several attempts at using WPS buttons, resetting booster and moving booster closer to router. Is it likely to be faulty. Is it a compatibility issue with streaming puck.

Sky Q equipment does not connect to Stream.

If you want Stream in another room you need to purchase an additional puck.

It partly answers the question. I have a puck in another room which works ok but I  just wanted to improve the signal to that puck which is some way from the router.
