Channel 4 hangs after fast forwarding ads

I have ad skipping on sky stream however when I try to fast forward ads on channel 4 the programme hangs. I end up having to watch it on channel 4 app through my tv which doesn't allow fast forwarding of ads. It's very annoying since I've paid for ad skipping.

Hi @Pedroh and welcome to the forum.  There are a couple of things you could try, namely a restart and App refresh.

 

Both procedures are in the same menu structure: Settings > System Management > Resets & Updates.  I would do the restart device first as the result will be instant if it is going to resolve the problem.  After after that do the Refresh Apps which takes a few hours to complete but is run in the background so you can still use the puck. I tend to do it overnight.
