Cancelled

Cancelled sky stream. Gt it to watch macgyver and some other shows. Watched one episode of macgyver. Couple days later I want to watch more. Now I suddenly need a channel 5 account or some other **bleep**. Why? I didn't 2 days before. So I phone and speak to a lady called charity. She cancels it, and sprouts some nonsense telling me to keep the direct debit, pay the 54, then I'd be refund d 58. I thought why, I'll just cancell it and not pay because what she said, means I don't owe anything. Now I keep getting harassed with emails and SMS about my account being restricted for non payment. But I don't owe any payment, and I certainly won't pay them just for them to refund me. Absolute poppycock, terrible customer service.

Re: Cancelled

Hi @Aunt_Tim

You are telling other customers here on the community. But you should never cancel a direct debit. You were advised that you would need to make payment and then receive a refund. You need to allow this process to happen or sky will not engage with you while your account is restricted, may charge you if your puck process isn't returned and pass the debt on to recovery which may affect your credit rating.

You are also required to give notice to cancel see: https://www.sky.com/help/sky-tv/sky-tv-stream/account-and-billing-sky-stream/cancellations-sky-strea...
