Buttons on my sky remote (sky stream) have stopped working

All of a sudden most of the buttons on my sky remote have stopped working.

It will turn on and off, and that is all. None of the other buttons work except strangely the left part of the wheel turns off sky tv too.

I have changed batteries, I have down the whole reset and reconnect the remote about 10'times!!! Still nothing.

Can someone please help ? I've tried calling sky and given up having been on hold for over 30 mins (I work long hours and this call on hold used up my break)

You could also try holding the remote at both ends and giving it a gentle twist as though you were wringing out a cloth.  Even though it sounds an unlikely solution it has got many faulty remotes working again (including mine).

If none of the above works then phone Sky to discuss and request a replacement remote.

If you have one available you can use a Sky Q remote.
