Black screen

I have recently changed to sky and am already having problems ,

I have put things on my playlist and it works fine till gets to the first break then all I get is a blank screen whilst the audio carries on 

any ideas

I have no advise for you - but I'm exactly the same only just joined sky and screen freezes and turns itself off

I also have the same issue and Sky need to fix. It is so frustrating that it's been happening for so long. The puck need's to be better. It's been out long enough

Happened again just now but this time the picture just froze on channel 922

Glass users have been having a similar problem. It is a known firmware issue that we are waiting for Sky to fix (two months and counting since I first reported it to Sky by phone).

 

The temporary workaround that has worked for some is to go into Prime Video and log out of that app, then restart the device. We think it has been Prime Video causing this issue with live TV, apps, playlist etc. 

 

So long as you remember to log out of Prime Video after watching it appears to prevent the black screen of doom appearing. Those of us that have had the issue have experienced the black screen with programme sound still playing.
