As mentioned above, my problems go back roughly 10 or 11 weeks.
Our system goes on most dys around 3 pm. No issues until 9pm+ when we start to get what everyone is describing as pixellation. Its quite specific in our case, the screen breaks into defined quarters within which the picture is discernibly processing/attempting refresh. This is indicative of a problem with decoding streamed video that should be completely undiscernible to the viewer (H246 video standard performing correctly conducts cycle quarter screen refreshes every few millie-seconds). Regardless of what is causing that, the system should be aware and give a meaningful error message - no such message is being displayed. We also get black screen or "Unable to" type messages. Last night saw an additional phenomenon, sound approximately 4 seconds in advance of image. Again that points to a problem reconstructing the image from the incoming stream.
In all cases todate, dissconnecting power to the puck and rebooting clears the problem (make sure to give it 20 seconds or so to perform a shutdown and dissipate any holdup capacitance).
I have tried the puck test on My Sky but only during normal daytime but will try it again tonight when the fault is present as I'm sure it will be.
Interested to know if anyone else shares my 6 hour + timeframe!
